Technology impacts virtually everyone on campus, extending across medical, academic, research, administrative, and outreach features of the college. In collaboration with IT professionals throughout the establishment, ITS offers the vision and delivery of IT companies important to the operation and success of the university.
Students will study the ideas of a Geospatial Information System (GIS), strategies of incorporating geovisualization strategies and geoprocessing tools to assist the processes of acquiring, analysing and visualizing GIS information. Students will have the ability to understand the law and ethics surrounding the usage of IT. They will have the ability to describe points similar to intellectual property rights protection and infringement, copyrights and plagiarism, software program piracy, pc crimes, Internet fraud, objectionable supplies and confidentiality in the information age. They will also be capable of articulate Singapore’s laws on cybersecurity, data privacy, and so forth.
